Homebrew Uninstall MacVim on Mac

Thank you to Paul Hinze for making the process of uninstalling MacVim using Homebrew as seamless as possible. To do this, all you need is a simple command: `ruby -e “$(curl -fsSL )”`. Make sure that it overrides the system default Vim, which is pre-7.3 Vim and not ideal (or at least it wasn't last week when I received my new MacBook).

If you're experiencing issues with your current Vim installation, you can try reinstalling MacVim using Homebrew: `brew install macvim –override-system-vim`. This will ensure that you have the latest version of Vim installed on your system.

In addition to uninstalling MacVim, I also had to reinstall Tmux: `brew install tmux`. For those who may not know, Tmux is a powerful tool for managing multiple terminal sessions. It's especially useful for developers who need to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

The process of getting everything up and running again was relatively easy, except for one major issue: Vim, my clipboard, and Tmux were not working together as seamlessly as I had expected. This was a major problem for me, as I rely heavily on these tools in my daily work.

After resolving the issues with Homebrew and reinstalling MacVim, I was able to get everything up and running again. The first thing I did was install iTerm 2 and then set up Homebrew. I'm currently typing this article on my brand-new MacBook Air, which features a back-lit keyboard and has more than enough processing power and memory to handle all of my tasks.

As for the topic of whether or not I would have been part of the French Resistance if I had lived during World War II, I can confidently say that I wouldn't have been. While I may have some ideals and principles, I'm not the cool, hardcore ideologue that I once believed myself to be.

In addition to being a bit of a contrarian, I also find myself drawn to the shiny tools available for web development on Mac OS X, such as Charles Proxy, which is usable in Chrome. As someone who works primarily with back-end web development, I've found myself increasingly reliant on these tools and have come to appreciate their power and flexibility.

As an aside, I should mention that I'm not alone in my love of Mac OS X for web development. Many of my colleagues at Upsync are also fans of the operating system, and we often find ourselves using its powerful tools to get our work done.
